The Archive
Before using computers all my work was drawn and produced by hand, using paint brushes and airbrush. For interest I present a gallery of pre digital workbelow. Click on the icons to view.
Guy Holt Illustration and design studio has been providing design and illustration services to local, national and international companies for over 20 years.
Principal and founder Guy Holt studied in UK on a technical graphics course, after graduation and having worked at UK Atomic Authority Winfrith, moved to Germany and worked at ACM Documentation producing technical drawings for various companies including Ford and Wirtgen.
In 1984 an opportunity to work for FP Sanney and Associates in Melbourne, saw a move to Australia and then later to Papua New Guinea working for Bechtel International.
Back in Melbourne Guy was offered a position to work with Trevor Ruth, producing photo-touching for advertising agencies.
And then a short contract in Singapore working at Saatchi and Saatchi before returning to Melbourne and starting his own studio.
Now based in Collingwood, we continue to provide design and illustration work to some of Australia's top publishing companies.
Our aim is not only to provide high quality work, but we feel its equally important to offer top quality service.
From the start of a job through to delivery of artwork to the client, our three main steps are:

- Budget
